Single Origin – Rwanda
Rwanda, though small, harbors a remarkable coffee culture surpassing expectations. Nestled in Africa, this country boasts a diverse coffee tradition matching its picturesque landscape. Rwandan coffee isn’t just a beverage; it symbolizes the nation’s dedication to quality and sustainability.
For 400,000 small-scale growers, coffee is both a source of pride and livelihood. Rwanda’s coffee production centers around the Arabica variety, renowned for its nuanced flavors. Despite being landlocked, exporting Rwandan coffee proves rewarding, despite higher costs.
Our beans, sourced from 1,400 to 1,900 meters altitude, come from Bourbon and Typica varieties. Processed in 40 washing stations by 35,000 farmers, Rwanda Trading Company in Kigali meticulously handles these beans.
The result? A delightful brew—fruity, well-balanced, with hints of cranberries. Revel in the flavors, experiencing Rwanda’s essence in every sip.
